We believe in servant leadership at Gadara Baptist Church and strive to seek God’s will for the direction of each of our Church ministries and missions. 

Pastor Shawn House

Bro. Shawn came to faith in Christ in 1980 while he was enlisted in the U.S. Army. He is both a graduate of the Baptist College of Florida and Liberty University.  He has been married to his gifted and talented wife Debbie for 35 years, and they have one adult son named Matthew.  Pastor Shawn was licensed into the gospel ministry in 1994 and ordained in 1997.  He has been on staff at other churches in Florida and West Virginia.  Brother Shawn first came to GBC in  1997 through 2002, and then returned to pastor the church in March of 2012 to share his devotion to God and move us closer to His amazing love.  We are blessed indeed to have Brother Shawn’s wisdom and deep knowledge of the Word to guide us through our spiritual awakenings, journeys, and individual needs these many years.
